Janis received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Walla Walla University, College Place, Washington, and her Masters in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, Oregon.
Janis is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, now known as, The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Janis’ initial plans to become a nurse practitioner were delayed as a young woman when she put her plans on hold to care for her terminally ill mother. It was only after the death of her mother and birth of her three daughters, Rebekah, Rachel and Leah that Janis was able to return to school to become a nurse and nurse practitioner. She has had accumulative experience in a variety of private clinics and hospitals specializing in OBGYN, Pediatrics, Family Practice, and in the NICU at Providence Hospital and Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Since moving to Scottsdale nine years ago, she has appreciated being an integral team member at Scottsdale Center for Women’s Health and working closely with Doctors Webb and Bartels.
Janis believes that by treating each person as an individual, she is best able to help her patients seek optimal, vibrant health. She feels that the patient-provider relationship should reflect that of mutual respect and collaboration. Through this relationship, patients should be empowered to take an active role in their healthcare plans and decisions. Special interests include health promotion and disease prevention, health education, nutrition, hormone therapy, thyroid disorders and weight management. Janis is credentialed as a specialist in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy through the Foundation for Care Management. She is a member of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and is currently on course for certification through the IFM.
Janis enjoys spending time with her husband Jon of 39 years, her children and grandchildren, friends and her special Havanese dog, Bella. She enjoys playing the piano and violin and being physically active through hiking, biking, swimming, camping and travelling.
Jackie graduated with a Bachelors Degree and Masters degree in Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburg, PA. She has experience in cardiac care and college health. After moving to Phoenix 16 years ago and working for the Health Department, in the field of sexually transmitted diseases, she later became involved in women’s health exclusively. Her expertise includes general GYN, hormone evaluations, pellet therapy, as well colposcopic exams / abnormal pap smears. Her particular interest is the care of the menopausal woman using bio identical hormone therapy.

Paula has been involved in women’s health for over 16 years. She graduated with her Master in Science Degree and became a Woman’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner in 1999. Paula undergoes re-certification in her specialty annually and stays current with the latest advances in her field. She is skilled in many areas of gynecology, such as bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, pellet implantation and management, contraceptive management, breast exams, ultrasounds and colposcopy. She also has particular expertise in the area of endocrinology and infertility.
Paula feels some of her best attributes include being a good listener and compassionate to her patients. Her goal is to provide all patients with personalized high-quality care in a supportive setting. Paula is married and has two children, a son and daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
RN (Nurse Injector Specialist)
Debbie is a Registered Nurse with 30 plus years of diverse nursing experience. She was born in Buffalo, New York. She has two grown children that she is very proud of and has a passion for golf. Debbie joined Dr. Webb and Bartels OB/GYN practice in 1994. Seven years ago she refocused her education and experience to develop a broad range of aesthetic skills including Botox and several dermal fillers. With Debbie’s artistic eye and knowledge she will provide you with the optimum results you deserve and should expect leaving you with a natural and beautiful look.
Yael is a licensed Para-Medical Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician who has been administrating professional grade peels and laser treatments for over 15 years. Her work experience ranges from managing skin care spa’s and performing facials to working for plastic surgeons administering deep effective peels and operating lasers for the skin. Her passion is providing a service that makes a difference and educating the public about preventing skin aging and skin cancer.
Julie earned a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Medical Assisting Certificate from Apollo College. She has co-owned Internal Medicine practices in New Mexico and Phoenix. She is skilled in working alongside Allopathic and Naturopathic physicians and has helped many patients restore their energy and vitality with a focus on Functional Medicine.
Julie has spent the last few years as a wellness consultant in a integrative medical setting helping patients achieve an optimal state of health. She is an expert at guiding patients through elimination diets, medical grade detoxification, weight loss, food allergy testing, and the evaluation and correction of nutritional deficiencies. She has had great success helping patients conquer digestive problems such as chronic acid reflux, bloating, constipation and irritable bowel syndrome without the use of prescription medications.
Overcoming Rheumatoid Arthritis herself, Julie utilizes this experience to assist those struggling with autoimmune diseases. Her true passion is to empower patients to overcome chronic DIS-ease. She believes knowledge is power and through healthy lifestyle choices change can occur.
Charlotte graduated with an AAS degree, in Radiography from Gateway Community College, with honors, in 1992. She then received her Certification in Medical Sonography in 1993, also with honors. She became a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN, in 1993. She has worked in high risk OB/GYN, as well as, with Drs. Webb and Bartels since 1993. She has been with her husband, Greg, since 1980. They have a daughter, who is an ER Nurse. She enjoys reading a good book, hiking and traveling with friends and family. She enjoys performing ultrasounds, you never know what you might find.
